Floor Plans

First Floor

Second Floor

Entire Lot

Attic: unfinished, extends completely across the south porch.

Fireplaces: Five of them, all capped at the top, keeping out birds and animals. (We were getting birds and raccoons in the house.) When we closed off the fireplaces, we fixed the one in the living room with a lever to open it up for use. We have never tried to use it. The fireplace in the second floor, northeast bedroom, probably had a fireplace below it in the kitchen, now covered over.

Room Heights: First floor: a full 12 feet, floor to ceiling. Second floor: 10 feet.

Indoor Heating and Cooling: Gas heating, but we leave most of the second floor unheated. There is a furnace in the attic which works, but I only tried it once. No central air, but mostly window units for bedrooms.

No basement: But ample crawl space.

Historical Marker for House: Marker.
